Louise has been a teacher for 35 years in a variety of roles and subjects. She retained and became the careers lead, advice and guidance counsellor At trinity high school and Sixth form centre in 2014. She has always tried to put the needs of the pupils first and to encourage them to aspire and use their potential.
She feels that the ‘power up’ is yet another wonderful and appropriate strand of support that helps the pupils become successful in some ways.
I am a mother of two grown up children (23 and 28) and my job role is that of an accountant. I came to accountancy late in terms of my career, only taking my first exam when I was 32. I am part of the senior management team of an engineering business where 150 people are employed and so use many different skills on a day to day basis. I am passionate about supporting young people in the development of themselves and their futures and am a trustee on a local charity which focuses on delivering this support. In my private life, I am married, have a dog and love going for walks with her.

Nigel Pugh is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader in the drone and geospatial data industry, serving as the founder and managing director of Impact Aerial Ltd, a professional drone services company based in the Midlands, UK. With over 30 years of experience in business management and a strong technical background, he has led multiple companies focused on harnessing advanced technology to deliver innovative solutions across sectors such as surveying, inspection, and aerial photography. His career includes key roles at Concord Communications and Computer Associates, further solidifying his expertise in technology and leadership. Due to his extensive experience and history, Nigel is a perfect mentor and trustee for the charity, bringing valuable insight and guidance to its mission.
Dr Rob Milford is the Managing Director and Founder of Milford Research and Consultancy Ltd. His company is a multi-award-winning business consultancy and recently won the runner-up for the Institute of Leadership 2023 Supporting Young Leaders Award.
He seeks to support the public, private and charity sectors by bringing expertise in corporate governance and collaborative working to the organisations. This includes tackling some of the most challenging organisational initiatives, such as, shared services and collaborative transformation.
He supports several local community projects including the “Power-Up” Mentoring programme as the trainer and author of the mentor toolkit; and the BOSS programme with University of Worcester for business students to create new sustainable businesses. He is currently an Enterprise Adviser and mentor for a school in Worcestershire, a Worcestershire Ambassador, Trustee for Sight Concern Worcestershire. He is also a visiting lecturer in leadership and business for several universities.

A business owner and accountant have a passion to help engage local businesses with students in schools, recognizing the importance of mentorship in the community.
The programme will remain completely mentee centric and will provide qualified enthusiastic and passionate mentors. It will focus on positive outcomes giving self belief, confidence and energy for self expansion for the mentees.
